Our clients were a married couple, buying their first home together. It needed to be situated within a certain catchment area for secondary schools for their children. They had also both left permanent employment within the NHS to self-employed contracting within an umbrella company. On top of this, the house they were wanting to purchase was highly sought after and the clients had found themselves amid a bidding war. Because of this, vendors and agents wanted a quick turnaround. There was a lot of pressure put on the clients from the start. This stress was taking its toll and worrying the clients.
